and that it is… or always seems to be. i really wasn’t kidding when i wrote, ‘and now i’ve got to start all over again’. life is just a constant beginning.
wow, i’ve started off at the deep end here in this blog. all i am saying is that it always seems new and i am always learning… good and bad… and that’s good, right?
i think so. it is definitely keeping me young.
here are some pics from just such an experience.

there’s my little album, for now.
thank you to all that came to my shows and instores. i received so many warm hugs and anecdotes from people about their encounters with my music over the years. when the entire process is created in what seems to be a vacuum, at times, it is truly refreshing to get out there and share your music with the real world.
i haven’t received any photos from my second video shoot yet, but when i do, i’ll be sure to share them.
if you did not manage to catch the blurb in the herald sun, ‘confidential’ section, let me recap… i will not be having any children after the shooting of this clip.
although the clip for my second single, ‘care’, looks floaty and ethereal on the outside, it was far from it. inside my five metre long dress, i wore an incredibly restrictive harness around my nether regions, which served to hang my entire body weight from my pelvic bone. yes, there is some scarring, both physical and emotional.
even through the intense pain (and i am not exaggerating, even a little bit. it was nothing short of excruciating), i had so much fun flying through the air on ropes. quite liberating, especially as i woke up on the morning of the shoot, with a major anxiety attack, when it dawned on me what an unusual sport i would actually be undertaking that day.
thrilling.
i am planning some more shows for next month, with the odd appearance this month for a couple of special events.
meanwhile, i am back to my yoga, cooking and gardening, with the occasional trip up to lake eildon to become reacquainted with the other kind of wild life.
i am also writing a few lovely tunes in between all this recouperation and domesticity.
stay tuned.
