Frente won hearts worldwide with singles ‘Ordinary Angels’, ‘Labour of Love’ and the beautiful ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’. Pictures of You, Angie’s cover of the classic song by The Cure, is now available on iTunes in territories outside of Australia, including the U.S. iTunes store. It has apparently been there for a while, though the news slipped by me somehow. There are no plans for a physical release of the song, making it download-only.

The digital single has been released with Don’t Be Shy as a b-side.

Sand, a tune co-written by Angie Hart and Ben Lee five years ago, is due to appear in Australian filmmaker Nash Edgerton’s THE SQUARE, according to and Undercover article recently published. Edgerton approached Lee to score the film.

“Nash sent me the script to the Square and I really, really loved it. I stayed up reading it from midnight until the early hours as it was such a page turner,” Lee said in a statement.

“I loved how its darkness was juxtaposed against a large romantic element – it was really tense yet had a romantic heart. I knew immediately that this was a project my music was truly suited to – not my voice, necessarily, but certainly my musical vision.”
