Angie returns with her sophomore album “Eat My Shadow”, set for release on October 23rd. Produced by ARIA award winning producer Shane Nicholson, and featuring collaborations with Mark Seymour from Hunters and Collectors and Ben Lee, the album is full of skillfully written songs with Angie’s much-imitated, never-bettered vocals.
You can click here to get in early and pre-order your limited edition version of “Eat My Shadow” which features a bonus disc of covers of artists such as Neil Young, The Smiths and James Reyne.
Even more exciting is Angie is hitting the road with her band very soon, playing a bunch of dates around the East Coast and Tasmania!

Angie will be playing at the Northcote Social Club in August 28, celebrating the release of a brand new single. Her new album is due in October according to the announcement, reproduced below:
Singer-songwriter Angie Hart rose to fame with the Melbourne-based alt-pop band ‘Frente’ which formed in 1991 and achieved chart-topping success, selling more than a million records worldwide. Angie Hart has since become her own entity, and will release her new album this Oct which is being recorded with ARIA-Award winning producer Shane Nicholson, and is set to be a stunner!

Frente will get back together again for a show in Taiwan.
The Melbourne band who had a few hits in the mid 90s with songs like ‘Accidentally Kelly Street’ and ‘Ordinary Angels’ as well as the sedate cover of New Order’s ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ will perform at the
‘Music Terminals 09’ Festival at the Outdoor Stadium and Tao Yuan Dome, in Tao Yuan City, Taiwan, on August 1.
