New Frente MP3s in the Multimedia section, courtesy of Frente Forum member Scott Fraser. The tracks were recorded pre-Marvin era on Triple J radio as park of the Big Day In charity event.

Angie covers The Cure’s “Pictures of You” for a new Transport Accident Commission (TAC) campaign charging drivers to be more responsible on the roads and to watch their speed.

Of the project, Angie says, “have your tissues ready, it is an incredibly moving piece of footage and i feel privileged to be a part of it.

“i am singing a cover of the cure’s, ‘pictures of you’. we will be releasing a full version of this song, in the coming weeks. stay tuned.”

Thanks to the efforts of the Frente fan-base, iHartAngie happily presents Frente, recorded live in concert at San Diego State University, June 12, 1994.

Christmas is upon us and giving is in the air. This season, i [Hart] Angie is happy to present Angie Hart’s May 15, 2005 performance from Tangier, in Los Angeles, now available for download in the Multimedia section.

The show has been publicly available for two years for trade or, intitially, as a bit torrent. It is now available as a standard download for the first time, and features early, acoustic performances of several songs that later appeared on Grounded Bird, some old favorites, and a handful of new songs that have never been released or recorded, as well as performances by Angie’s friends, Sime Nugent and Angela Correa.

For those who have never heard it, the Tangier show is a treat indeed! Merry Christmas!

The i [Hart] Angie photo gallery is now live. The photos are stored on Flickr. From the gallery, you can click an image to access the photo’s Flickr page. If you have a Flickr account, you can then perform the usual Flickr supported actions – leave comments, mark a favorite, tag it, subscribe, add ihartangie as a contact, etc.

If you have photos you’d like to add to our gallery, please contact me for access to the ihartangie Flickr account.

Like the forum, the photo gallery is something of a social experiment to facilitate photo sharing amongst site visitors, while simultaneously improving the on-site presentation of images. Your positive and/or negative feedback is most welcome.

Why the change?

ABC Records, the label releasing Angie’s debut solo album, Grounded Bird, requested use of the angie-hart.com domain name for their promotional site for the album. Following a quick brainstorming session with Angie and her manager, Will, we decided to relocate the former site to ihartangie.net.
